Arts Speaker Series -Eugene Agyei Lecture: Turner Teaching Fellow Lecture Thursday, January 30 at 4:30 p.m. in Nevins Theater, Powell Campus Center


Distilling Place Reception Thursday, January 30 at 6 p.m. in Miller Performing Arts Center - Scenography Gallery - 1st Floor in Miller 2 by the Choral Studio. This exhibition examines the intersection of place, walking, choreographic practices and digital imagery. D. Chase Angier distills hundreds of images collected from over one hundred miles of attraction walking in Paris, France; Homer, Alaska; Chattanooga and Nashville, Tennessee; and Los Angeles, California; down into twenty seven images. Using similar practices from creating site responsive performance works, Angier explores responding to site in two-dimensions with the support of the summer printmaking class, William Contino, Don Weinhart, and their team.

IEA Resident Artist GHAZAL RAMZANI
The Institute for Electronic Arts (IEA) announces an exciting line-up of resident artists in the Spring Semester 2025.

Ghazal Ramzani is a Berlin-based Iranian dancer, choreographer, dance filmmaker, and facilitator who will be joining the Institute for Electronic Arts from February 4th to 15th. Her choreographic practice is deeply rooted in indigenous dance forms, particularly Kathak and Iranian movement traditions, and center on marginalized and undocumented stories.
